Parkrun is a free, weekly run held at 9am every Saturday morning at parks and other locations across the UK.
Each parkrun is three miles or five km long and runners - or walkers - or all paces and abilities are welcome to take part.
It's totally free. If you want you can just turn up and run without registering.
However, if you register on the parkrun website, you will be given an individual barcode. Take that along and your times will be recorded each time you do it and at whatever parkrun you go to across the UK or beyond.
Definitely. Some people will absolutely fly around the parkrun course. However others will walk the whole way or run a bit and then walk for a bit.
If you don't want to run, you can also volunteer. Each parkrun relies on volunteers to fill the various roles including timekeeper, barcode scanner and tail walker.
Everyone is welcome.
