Ant and Dec slammed for 'wasting food' on Saturday Night Takeaway as viewers vow to call Ofcom

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway has left fans furious as they all have the same complaint about the latest episode of the show.
On last night's show, presenters Declan Donnelly and Ant McPartlin, both 48, dressed up in monster costumes and acted out a story narrated by special guest, Cat Deeley, 47.
The iconic duo came onto the stage in their bizarre fur suits and took a seat at a fairy tale inspired dining table as the This Morning host narrated a "dread time story".
Sitting on an armchair, she told the tale of two monsters called "Anty and Decky" and their favourite meal of "monster porridge".
Reading out loud, she made the Geordie presenters act out the story and repeat certain lines after her, the Mirror reports.
They said: "We really love monster porridge. We love it even more with fermented tofu sauce all over it."
Then, to loud gasps and laughs from the audience, Cat added: "So they covered their porridge with tons of fermented tofu sauce."
After covering the cold bowls of gruel with the mysterious white sauce, Cat made "Anty" ask, "how does it smell Decky?" He replied, "like death."
The pair were then made to feed one another huge spoonfuls of the gloopy dish with both of them screwing up their faces in disgust and spitting the food out in horror.
The audience seemed to love the entertainment but some social media users were quick to slam the presenters for the gag which they argued was distasteful in more ways than one.
One tweeted: "Why are you wasting perfectly good food, when there are many struggling to feed themselves and their families, disgusting #Shameful #ITV #ofcom."
