Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that centre-back Cristian Romero is available for Saturday's clash with Manchester United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Argentine, who joined Spurs two years ago from Atalanta, initially on loan, was forced off just three minutes after scoring the opening goal in last Sunday's 2-2 draw with Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium. He suffered a head injury inside the opening exchanges and despite his best efforts to continue he had to be withdrawn with just 14 minutes played.
He was replaced by Colombian Davinson Sanchez, who helped Spurs overturn a 2-1 deficit to earn themselves a point in Postecoglou's first game in charge. Emerson Royal brought them level just before the break, cancelling out Yoane Wissa's deflected effort.
Amid speculation about whether or not Romero would be available to face Erik ten Hag's side or not this weekend, Postecoglou has given the Argentine the all clear, confirming he is "good to go."

"Cristian is good to go," Postecoglou said, addressing the media on Friday lunchtime. "Obviously he's been in the hands of the medical team going through all the protocols.
"He's ticked all the boxes and felt fine all week. Aside from that, no change from last week."
United's visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will, of course, mark the Londoners' first home game after life without Harry Kane. The England captain left his boyhood club last week to seal a big-money move to German heavyweights Bayern Munich.
