Former This Morning presenter Amanda Holden has taken yet another dig at her former co-star Phillip Schofield following his exit from the flagship ITV breakfast programme earlier this year during a new interview.
The Britain's Got Talent judge appeared on the show between 2014 and 2019 before bosses reportedly decided to offer Rochelle Humes a more permanent contract which left Amanda reeling as she believed Phil used his "powers of persuasion."
Phil stepped down from his role on This Morning earlier this year after admitting to having an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague which he hid from family, friends, his co-stars and ITV bosses.
In a new interview, Amanda said: "You are going to come down, but you don’t have to come crashing down, you can say things about me, and it's water off a duck's back."
"I know my reputation is professional and likeable. That's what I wanted when I set out. Whatever job you're in, there is the climb and there is the descent," she continued speaking to Fabulous magazine.
Amanda had previously appeared on the show alongside Phillip despite him reportedly pushing bosses to sign Rochelle Humes up after Amanda had agreed to be on the programme.
Following his exit from the ITV show, The BGT judge took to Instagram to share a cryptic post alluding to her former co-presenter, sharing a muscled arm emoji.

As Amanda was left sidelined from This Morning, sources at the time claimed that Amanda felt Phillip had "unfairly used his powers of persuasion," and Rochelle had been chosen as she was "easier to 'manage' on air."
