Manchester United winger Amad Diallo appears to have responded to links with a January move to Middlesbrough on social media.
After missing the majority of the campaign with an injury he picked up in pre-season, the 21-year-old has now returned to fitness, making his comeback as a second-half substitute in the Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest at the end of last month. Amad has since been left out of the squad for the last two games, which comes as speculation continues over his short-term future at the club.
The winger has been the reported subject of interest from several clubs in the current window, including promotion-chasing Leicester City and Southampton. Former loan club Sunderland are also among the clubs credited with an interest.

But reports on Tuesday from journalist Alan Nixon suggested that it’s Middlesbrough who are ‘winning the race’ for Amad, having offered the biggest contribution to the player’s wages this month.
The player now seems to have responded to those reports, sharing a picture on his Instagram stories from his time at Sunderland blowing a kiss to the fans with an added kissing emoji. Sunderland and Middlesbrough are currently competing for a play-off place in the Championship table, the Black Cats in seventh, just one point ahead of Boro in 10th.
Amad spent last season on loan with Sunderland where he caught the eye with his performances. The winger scored 13 times and provided three assists in 37 Championship appearances for the club as he helped them to secure a play-off place.
