Amy Dowden reunited with her fellow Strictly Come Dancing professional dancers as they headed to the Pride of Britain Awards in London on Sunday 8 October. Amy, who revealed that she'd been diagnosed with Grade 3 breast cancer in May this year, joined familiar faces from the show’s past and present and she accompanied Janette Manrara, Dianne Buswell and Aljaž Škorjanec at the star-studded event.
For the occasion, Amy looked sensational as she wore a stunning pink dress with an oversized ribboned one-shoulder detail - an outfit likely to be a meaningful choice given that October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Prior to heading to the red carpet, Amy joined Dianne and Janette and the Strictly trio posed for an adorable picture in their stunning evening gowns. Like Amy, Janette looked incredible in a pink strapless gown which featured various shades of the hue.
Dianne on the other hand kept things simple and paired her vibrant red hair with a pale yellow fitted dress which featured a thigh split detail. Captioning the snap, Janette added a pink heart and wrote: “#PrideOfBritain (She absolutely is [pink bow emoji)]”.
The Strictly outing comes one day after Amy surprised viewers of the show when she appeared on the BBC One programme to read the voting terms and conditions. Presenter Claudia Winkleman Amy, who wore a floor-length white sequin gown, with Amy then telling viewers: “I am halfway through treatment for chemo, and I can't wait to be back with you all soon.” Following her stint on the show,
