Former Love Island star Faye Winter has officially confirmed her split from Teddy Soares, after the pair dated for just over a year. Faye posted a picture of her dog Bonnie to her Instagram stories with a statement that read: "I wanted to let you know that after lots of time and consideration, Teddy and I have decided to go our separate ways.
"Thank you all so much for supporting our relationship and sharing the journey with us." She concluded her message by saying: "Lots of love, Faye and Bonnie." Prior to their split, Faye, 27, and Teddy, 28, were the last couple remaining from Season 7 of Love Island, which took place in 2021. Faye, who is originally from Devon, moved in with Teddy in London in August, 2021, just a month after the show ended, and they further cemented their relationship when they got their Golden Retriever puppy, named Bonnie, together in September 2022.
It seems that Faye is now the sole owner of Bonnie, as the dog is often featured in her Instagram posts, and not in any of Teddy's recent ones. Despite the pair declaring in February 2022 that they would be "together forever" their relationship has been plagued with rumours of "crisis talks" and social media silence over the past couple of months, fuelling speculation that they had decided to go their separate ways.
Here, we take a closer look at all of the signs that Faye and Teddy had split. Crying on social media In mid-January Teddy posted a clip of himself crying to Instagram, as he revealed that he was in a "difficult position" and told his followers "it's okay to cry," whilst not revealing the reason for his upset.
