Alison Hammond sends message to Holly Willoughby after This Morning exit announcement

Alison Hammond has issued a message to This Morning co-star Holly Willoughby as the presenter revealed she has quit the show.
Holly took to Instagram to reveal she will not be returning to the flagship ITV daytime show after being pulled off the show last week. In an Instagram post, she wrote: "I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning.
"To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so so much. This such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we've done together." Holly also thanked 'the wonderful viewers' who were 'the very best company every day.'

A number of ITV colleagues and This Morning fans took to the comments section to share their best wishes. Among them was fellow This Morning star Alison, who said: "This is a very sad day ! Love you".
Pride of Britain awards host Carol Vorderman wrote: "Wishing you and your family peace and strength in what must be a very difficult time after the news of last week Holly x from my time on TM, I know that the team will miss you very much. Take care" and This Morning guest host Rochelle Humes added: "This is a sad day... We love you x".
It comes after a man was charged over an alleged plot to kidnap and murder the TV star. Gavin Plumb, 36, has been remanded in custody after being charged with soliciting a man named David Nelson to commit murder, and incitement to commit kidnap between October 2 and 5 in Harlow, Essex.
