ITV star Alison Hammond shared a candid revelation about her time on Strictly Come Dancing and the ultimatum she gave her dance partner, Aljaž Škorjanec. In a clip posted on Instagram from Rob Beckett's Smart TV show, Alison discussed her experience on the dance competition in 2014.
Reflecting on her seven-week journey on the show, Alison expressed her love for the experience, particularly the dazzling costumes and her partnership with the talented dancer, Aljaž. However, she humorously admitted to giving Aljaž an ultimatum regarding their rehearsal schedule.
Alison confessed: "I'll be honest with you, I hardly did anything... I said, 'Listen Aljaz, this is how it's going to work, I'll do 10-3 cos I've got to pick my son up from school.' “Everyone else was doing 13-hour days.
I was like, I'll smash it out on Saturday night. I'd be literally eating eclairs going, 'show me the dance steps again.'" The dancing lessons don’t seem to have paid off, however, as during Tuesday's episode of This Morning, ITV host Alison Hammond experienced an amusing mishap during a dance segment.
Teaming up with co-host Dermot O’Leary for a ballet lesson with the Silver Swans, a group known for offering dance classes to seniors, Alison took a tumble while attempting a low demi-plié.
The energetic presenter, renowned for her adventurous spirit, found herself laughing on all fours after losing her balance mid-move. Despite her comedic fall, Alison struggled to stand up again, jokingly remarking: "I can't get back up now though!"
