Alejandro Garnacho has apologised to Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag for liking tweets that criticised his substitution in the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth last week.
Garnacho was removed at half-time with United 2-1 down and shortly after the final whistle the 19-year-old liked tweets questioning his removal by a YouTuber.
The Manchester Evening News revealed Ten Hag had taken Garnacho to task over his social media activity and a club spokesperson confirmed the matter had been dealt with internally.

Garnacho has started 30 successive games for United and has been substituted in their past four matches, having played the full two hours in the epic FA Cup quarter-final victory over Liverpool on March 17. The winger has trained this week.
"Alejandro is a young player," Ten Hag said. "Has to learn a lot. He has apologised for it and we move on."
United take on Coventry City in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday, having reached the final last season only to be beaten 2-1 by Manchester City.
The FA Cup is the only chance of silverware available to United this season after they exited the League Cup and all European competitions before Christmas. They have also dropped to seventh in the Premier League table and are 13 points adrift of fourth-placed Aston Villa.
United have not won a game since their uplifting quarter-final defeat of Liverpool on March 17.
