Marta Balaga Despite teasing his retirement in 2017, “Le Havre” director Aki Kaurismäki will follow his Berlin Silver Bear winner “The Other Side of Hope” with a new feature film under the working title of “Dead Leaves” (“Kuolleet lehdet” in Finnish).The new project was announced on Friday by Helsinki-based company B-Plan Distribution.The film will star Alma Pöysti, who recently starred in Zaida Bergroth biopic “Tove,” about Moomins creator Tove Jansson — a film that won her a Jussi award for best actress in 2021. Jussi Vatanen, known for the drama “Forest Giant” and smash hit trilogy “Lapland Odyssey” has also joined the cast.

Aunjanue Ellis has been open about her sexuality for decades, but when asked why her personal life has rarely been in the media, the 53-year-old actress pointed out that «nobody asked.» In a candid interview with , the  actress recalled walking down the red carpet at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards in March with the word «Queer» emblazoned on the left arm of her red-hot Dolce & Gabbana suit jacket. But nobody on the press line or inside the event ever asked her about it.«I was thinking, 'Why didn’t more people pay attention to that?' And I was like, they probably thought it said 'Queen,'» Ellis told the outlet, laughing.

Many remember Regina Hall from her legendary role as Brenda in the Scary Movie series. Her career didn’t start there, though. She starred in Best Man, and Love and Basketball. Zack Sharf Laura Dern and Sam Niell headlined Steven Spielberg’s 1993 blockbuster “Jurassic Park” as paleobotanist Ellie Sattler and paleontologist Alan Grant, respectively. The two characters fall in love during the film despite the 20-year age gap that existed between Dern and Niell during the making of the film. Dern was 23 years old when filming started and 26 when the movie opened in 1993.

Ash Palmisciano has shared his heartbreak after announcing the death of his mum.The 32 year old, who is well known for portraying the character Matty Barton on ITV soap opera Emmerdale, took to his Instagram feed to share a photo of himself with his mum in a sunny location, smiling, before announcing the devastating news with his 27,700 followers. "Still can’t believe you’re not with us mum," he started in the caption. "I’m just starting everyday like you did…with a good cuppa, Hope, love and positivity!" He then gushed: "My biggest inspiration and role model, Miss you everyday #Micki #MyMum," followed by a red heart emoji.
