‘Abbott Elementary’: William Stanford Davis Upped To Series Regular On ABC Comedy Series

Marlon Wayans is getting the comedy treatment at Starz.The network is developing “Book of Marlon,” inspired by the actor and comedian’s life, it was announced on Tuesday. Wayans will play a fictionalized version of himself in the series.Wayans will star, co-write and executive produce the series. Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin are the showrunners as part of their overall deal with Warner Bros.

The show will debut at midseason for ABC during the 2022-2023 broadcast season.Based on Karin Slaughter’s “Will Trent” novel series, the show follows Special Agent Will Trent (Ramón Rodríguez) of the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI).

Emmy winner Jaime Pressly (Mom) has joined the cast of Fox’s comedy series Welcome To Flatch as a series regular for its upcoming second season. She will play a new character named Barb Flatch.

In the show, Nella, an editorial assistant, is tired of being the only black girl at her company, so she’s excited when Hazel is hired. But as Hazel’s star begins to rise, Nella spirals out and discovers something sinister is going on at the company.Danielle Henderson will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the show.

Carson Burton “The Boys” are getting two new Supes in Season 4 with Valorie Curry and Susan Hayward joining the cast. Cameron Crovetti, who plays Homelander’s son Ryan, has also been promoted to a series regular for the upcoming season.Curry (“The Lost Symbol”) will be portraying the superhero Firecracker, and Heyward (“Delilah”) will portray Sister Sage. Neither of the characters are from “The Boys” comics, so nothing is known about the characters thus far.

More supes are joining The Boys. Amazon is rounding out cast for the upcoming fourth season of Emmy-nominated superhero series The Boys, from Sony Pictures TV and Amazon Studios. Valorie Curry (The Lost Symbol) and Susan Heyward (Orange Is The New Black) join as new series regulars for the upcoming season, and Cameron Crovetti, who recurred as Ryan, son of Homelander (Antony Starr) in Seasons 2 and 3, has been promoted to series regular for Season 4. Crovetti has appeared in eight episodes over both seasons.
