A wide ranging list of honorees were announced today for the Critics Choice Association‘s inaugural Celebration Of LGBTQ+ Cinema & Television which will take place during Pride Month on Friday June 7, 2024 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Following the event it will stream on HereTV, the first and largest LGBTQ+ TV and streaming service in the USA. Actress, writer, and comedian Sherry Cola (Joy Ride, Shortcomings, Good Trouble) will host.
The strike may have delayed and abbreviated the third season of Abbott Elementary but Quinta Brunson went into it feeling pretty confident that her comedy wasn’t going anywhere: she was told that ABC had picked up the series for a fourth season.
