A Place in the Sun buyers in tears as they make crushing admission after credits roll

A Place in the Sun buyers have shared a crushing update after they landed their dream home. Caroline and Gary were on the hunt for a three-bedroom property in Valencia on Monday's show - which saw presenter Jasmine Harman show the househunters around five properties in the Spanish region, reports Liverpool Echo.
The couple were armed with a budget of £150,000 and were on the search for a spacious property for their family of nine kids. Caroline and Gary were shocked by how much they could get for their budget and fell in love with a stunning home in Pendrabia.
The house had four bedrooms, a bar and a pool, with the pair becoming visibly emotional as they viewed the stunning home. They immediately made their decision and were in tears as they purchased the home for £148,000.
In an interview with the official A Place in the Sun website after filming finished, Caroline was thankful of the help she received on the show. She said: "The crew was lovely and Jasmine too. We definitely wouldn’t have ended up going to buy the place if we hadn’t gone on the show."
Before going on the programme, the two had never visited the region before but shared their plans to renovate outside of the home and paint around the pool.
Caroline revealed how the home needed to be refurbished when she arrived at the house.
She said: "The Belgian vendors left everything – even glasses in the kitchen. It was very clear that the husband clearly didn’t want to sell, but his wife did.”
However, Caroline was disappointed as she revealed she hadn't been able to visit as often as they would have liked and had only travelled to the home once since they bought the house.
