8 PBS TV Shows & Specials Get Premiere Dates!

Margot Robbie revealed Tuesday that one of the producers for the film “Oppenheimer” once tried to convince her to push the release date of ‘Barbie” back. “One of your producers, Chuck Roven, called me, because we worked together on some other projects. And he was like, ‘I think you guys should move your date,’ ” Robbie, 33, told Cillian Murphy during their chat on Variety’s Actors on Actors.

TLC is announcing their schedule for early 2024!

FX has confirmed the premiere date and released the key art (see above) for Feud Capote Vs. The Swans, the second installment of Ryan Murphy’s award-winning anthology.

Paramount+ has set January 25 for the premiere of Sexy Beast, the drama series prequel to the 2000 cult British gangster movie, starring James McArdle, Emun Elliott, Tamsin Greig, Stephen Moyer and Sarah Greene. After a remarkable run in theaters, Greta Gerwig’s pop culture phenomenon Barbie is making its way to streaming, having set a premiere date on Max of December 15th. The news comes shortly after the Gotham Awards, where Barbie was honored with a Global Icon & Creator tribute, with Gerwig and star Margot Robbie speaking on behalf of the film.

Valerie Wu Intern Paramount+ original series “Sexy Beast” has announced a premiere date of Jan. 25, 2024 and released first-look photos. The eight-episode UK series serves as a prequel to the 2000 crime thriller film “Sexy Beast.” It traces the relationship between best friends and thieves Gal Dove (James McArdle) and Don Logan (Emun Elliott), who together become involved in London’s criminal world during the 1990s.

We now have a premiere window and the first look at The Thundermans Return movie based on Nickelodeon‘s hit live-action superhero comedy series.

Paramount+ has slotted Thursday, February 8, 2024 for the Season 2 premiere of Halo, based on the widely popular and long-running Xbox game franchise. The streamer also unveiled the first-look teaser trailer during its panel today at CCXP in São Paolo, Brazil, with cast members Pablo Schreiber and Joseph Morgan, along with showrunner David Wiener and executive producer Kiki Wolfkill.

About six weeks after Beyoncé made a surprise appearance at the world premiere of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Swift returned the favor, showing up Thursday night at the London premiere of Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.

Prime Video has set January 19, 2024 for the premiere of Vivienne Medrano’s adult animated musical comedy series Hazbin Hotel. Episodes will drop exclusively on the streamer beginning January 19 in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Prime Video also announced its guest cast, which includes Broadway vets Darren Criss (Saint Peter), Jeremy Jordan (Lucifer Morningstar), Daphne Rubin-Vega (Carmilla Carmine), Patina Miller (Sera), and Jessica Vosk (Lute).  They also will be announced in true Broadway style via the marquee at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood today from 8am – 6pm PT. They join the previously announced main cast including Erika Henningsen, Stephanie Beatriz, Alex Brightman, Keith David, Kimiko Glenn, Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Christian Borle, and Joel Perez.

The Dick Wolf universe of shows — “Chicago Med,” Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.,” “Law & Order,” “Law & Order: SVU” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime” — are all poised to return. New episodes of the “One Chicago” shows will debut Wednesday, Jan.

NBC is announcing their TV schedule!

NBC, the only broadcast network to have original, homegrown scripted series on the fall schedule with The Irrational and Found, will also launch most of its strike-impacted scripted slate the fastest.

AMC Networks has set Sunday, February 25 for the premiere of the latest TWD spinoff The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. The series, starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in a reprisal of their roles as Rick Grimes and Michonne, will debut on both AMC and AMC+. A new teaser also was released tonight during the series finale of Fear The Walking Dead. You can watch it above.

The Voice viewers were left stunned on Saturday night when a huge popstar from the 1990s auditioned for the show – but failed to get any of the mentors to turn for her. Mariama Goodman, 44, found fame as one third of the girl group Honeyz in 1999 when she replaced founding member Heavenli Abdi. During her time in the band, Honeyz racked up three Top 10 hit singles – Love of a Lifetime, Never Let You Down and Won't Take It Lying Down.Their debut album Wonder No.

Prime Video has set a winter release date for Mr. and Mrs. Smith, its reimagining of New Regency’s 2005 Doug Liman-directed action comedy film that starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. All eight episodes will release on February 2, 2024, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Apple TV+ has released some of the first images from The New Look, a World War II-set drama about fashion icons Christian Dior and Coco Chanel starring Emmy winner Ben Mendelsohn and Oscar winner Juliette Binoche. The anticipated series from Todd A. Kessler will debut globally with the first three episodes on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 on Apple TV+, followed by one episode every Wednesday through April 3.
