Factor plays Cheese Williams, one of the show’s four Indigenous teenagers living on the “rez” in rural Oklahoma. The Oklahoma native, who is of Creek-Seminole and Caddo descent, talked to Variety before the SAG-AFTRA strike about learning the craft, how the cast and crew helped him overcome his anxiety andworking with Steven Spielberg in “The Fabelmans.” What has the journey been like for you, getting to grow up on TV as Cheese and taking him through this final season? Stevenson died on May 21 on the Italian island Ischia at the age of 58, after production had wrapped on the series. Before the end credits on Episode 1 of “Ahsoka,” a screen reads, “For our friend, Ray.” His “Ahsoka” character Baylan Skoll serves as one of the primary antagonists on the show.

In many ways, that mission faces its greatest challenge with the newest “Star Wars” show, “Ahsoka.” Technically a spin-off of Rosario Dawson’s performance as former Jedi Ahsoka Tano on “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett,” the show is really a sequel to two “Star Wars” animated shows: “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and “Star Wars Rebels.” Taken together, these shows, which ran from 2008 to 2020, span 208 episodes of TV, and roughly cover the events between “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones” and “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” (on “Clone Wars”) and “Revenge of the Sith” and “Star Wars: A New Hope” (on “Rebels”).

FX’s “Reservation Dogs” and AMC’s “Dark Winds” have a few things in common — starting, of course, with Zahn McClarnon, who stars as Navajo tribal police officer Joe Leaphorn in “Dark Winds” and recurs as Officer Big in “Reservation Dogs.” And both also share acclaim from viewers and critics: “Reservation Dogs” sports a 99% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes’ reviews aggregator, while “Dark Winds” boasts a remarkable 100% ranking.

Star Wars character, Ahsoka, was inspired Gandalf from The Lord Of The Rings.The actor is reprising the role of the former Jedi Padawan for the upcoming Ahsoka series on Disney+, having previously appeared as the character in a couple of episodes of The Mandalorian.In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dawson discussed how she and series creator Dave Filoni were particularly interested in examining Ahsoka’s growth from a Padawan into a leader.The upcoming series is set after the events of the animated Star Wars Rebels finale, in which Ahsoka, dressed all in white, returned from the ethereal Force dimension known as the World Between Worlds. It was this sort of imagery and development that prompted Dawson and Filoni to draw parallels with Gandalf from J.R.R.
