Jack Sherman was a former guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He played on their self-titled debut album in 1984.Sherman joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1983.

Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Jack Sherman has died at the age of 64.

BottleRock Napa Valley, originally scheduled for May 22-24, has been postponed until Oct. 2-4, with festival organizers saying all the headliners have been locked in for the new dates.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have staged their first public performance with returning guitarist John Frusciante to honour late film producer Andrew Burkle.

Guitarist John Frusciante has played his first gig since reuniting with Red Hot Chili Peppers. Frusciante last performed with the band in 2007. He joined Anthony Kiedis and Flea for a three-song set at a memorial concert for Andrew Burkle put on by the Tony Hawk Foundation.
