Thirty Seconds To Mars react to Chad Smith’s “incredible” viral drum video

Thirty Seconds To Mars have responded to a recent viral drum video, which saw Chad Smith nail a performance of one of their songs. The moment came last month, when the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ drummer went viral after expertly playing along to the band’s 2005 song ‘The Kill’ as he listened to it for the first time. The challenge was presented by Drumeo as part of its For The First Time series, and Smith soon turned heads by seeming to know instinctively where the song was going next even though he didn’t know it, nor the artist who first played it.“What the fuck was that? Is that like My Chemical Romance or something?” he asked after wrapping up the cover. He also confirmed that he had never heard the song before, but guessed that it was “some kind of emo thing”.Now, following the clip amassing nearly five million views in just two weeks, the band behind the track have shared a response to the online hit video, and described Smith’s efforts as “incredible”.Sharing a video to their official TikTok account, brothers Jared and Shannon Leto offered a silent but enthusiastic reaction to the original video.Frontman Jared mouthed along the lyrics to the track and gave numerous ‘thumbs ups’ to the clip, while drummer Shannon air-drummed along to Smith’s take.

Lauryn Hill kills it at rain-soaked Global Citizen Festival

Global Citizen Festival — which traditionally has served as a golden sunset on summer as it gives way to fall — was a rain-soaked slog that turned New York’s Central Park into one giant mud puddle.Indeed, the Great Lawn that had been populated with sun worshippers for the past few months was now a sea of ponchos and rain slickers.“It’s a beautiful day!” joked “Science Guy” Bill Nye early in the spirit-dampening festivities. In fact, it was almost an hour into the main show before the first act, Brazilian sensation Anitta, even took the stage — no doubt to ensure a safe, slip-free performance. The elements didn’t stop the Grammy-nominated singer — wearing a bedazzled bodysuit with the colors of the Brazilian flag emblazoned across its halter top — from twerking, writhing and otherwise booty-popping on the wet stage. One could’ve only hoped that all that grinding and gyrating by Anitta and her hip-shaking squad was some sort of anti-rain dance. But the rain gods were not to be defeated. And neither was the Global Citizen Festival.Indie-pop star Conan Gray brought some glam to the gloom in his red, black and silver sequined jacket — with fringe sleeves for extra flair — while K-pop group Stray Kids demonstrated the global impact of hip-hop in the city that gave birth to it 50 years ago.And the BTS Army showed up in full force for Jung Kook, who got a catsuited-assist from rapper Latto on their No.

Red Hot Chili Peppers do his wrestling theme song.Alternative music within the pro-wrestling was very common within the height of the sport in the early 00s.
