Disney has released a new teaser trailer for its upcoming adaptation of Gene Luen Yang’s American Born Chinese starring Everything Everywhere All At Once‘s Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan and Stephanie Hsu.The teaser trailer focuses on Yeoh’s character warning that a “gate between Heaven and Earth is opening” with the fate of the world “hanging in balance.” The trailer also shows glimpses of several multiverse settings as well as Ke Huy Quan’s and Stephanie Hsu’s characters.American Born Chinese is set to arrive in Disney+ beginning May 24. Based on Gene Luen Yang’s 2006 graphic novel the same name, the series will tell the story of a teenager named Ben/Jin Wang who struggles as a Chinese immigrant in an American high school.Upon meeting a fellow foreign exchange student Wei-Chen, the two become embroiled in a historical battle of Chinese mythological gods, with themes of identity, culture and family woven in.Jin Wang will be played by young star Ben/Jin Wang, while his fellow exchange student Wei-Chen is played by Jim Liu.

Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again has reportedly confirmed its first major cast change from the original Netflix series.Set to premiere in 2024, Daredevil: Born Again will see Charlie Cox return as Matt Murdoc/Daredevil while Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise his role as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin. Cox made his MCU debut in Spiderman: No Way Home and D’Onofrio appeared in Hawkeye.They’ll reportedly be joined in Born Again by Jon Bernthal who is set to return as Frank Castle aka The Punisher.However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the Disney show has confirmed its first major cast difference from the Netflix series.

Disney‘s upcoming superhero series Daredevil: Born Again.According to The Hollywood Reporter, several anonymous sources have reportedly confirmed that Bernthal will reprise his role alongside Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdoc/Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.Marvel and Disney have yet to confirm or deny these reports.While a firm release date has yet to be announced, Daredevil: Born Again is currently scheduled to premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2024. The series will also stray away from its initial release format of six to nine episodes per season in favour of an 18-episode run.Daredevil: Born Again will adapt its story from the 1986 comic book of the same name, albeit with several notable changes.

The Mandalorian series has simultaneously acted as a vessel for expanded lore around the classic Star Wars character Boba Fett.Created by Jon Favreau, the Star Wars spin-off series (controversially) reintroduced Boba Fett following his presumed death in the Sarlaac pit in Return Of The Jedi.With his survival confirmed in season two, the bounty hunter was given his own spin-off in The Book Of Boba Fett which intertwined with events between the second and third seasons of The Mandalorian.Aside from their obvious similarities in armour sets, there’s less common ground than you might expect between the two characters.Technically, they’re not. Din Djarin aka The Mandalorian was adopted into Mandalorian culture – a creed which derives from the planet Mandalore.After his parents were killed in the Clone Wars, an orphaned Djarin was rescued by a tribe of Mandalorian warriors and raised as a “foundling” – despite not originating from Mandalore.

Miley Cyrus is returning to her Disney Channel roots with a new edition of Backyard Sessions in celebration of her latest album . For the first time since taking off the  wig back in 2011, the pop star is partnering with Disney to release: a musical event featuring Miley’s first performances of and seven additional tracks from the new album. The special will drop, in coordination with the release of the new album, on Friday, March 10 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m.

Jeremy Renner continues to recover from his horrific snowplow accident, the actor is sharing the first official look at his upcoming Disney+ original series,, which sees him and a team of builders turning decommissioned vehicles into one-of-a-kind creations that will serve communities around the world.«I’ve been on this journey for many years, and I started in my community by building vehicles for people in need. The Mandalorian has teased more “surprises” in the third season.The Star Wars spin-off debuted the first episode of season three on Wednesday (March 1), which picks up after Grogu and Din Djarin, aka The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal), reunited in fellow spin-off The Book Of Boba Fett.It also comes after the show’s season two finale, where Mark Hamill made a surprise appearance as Luke Skywalker in digitally de-aged form.Speaking to the Radio Times, Rick Famuyiwa, who directed the season three premiere, was asked whether anything in the third season will match Luke’s return.“There’s always something to look forward to, there’s always surprises,” Famuyiwa replied.“I think the show, at its heart, is still just about this relationship between Mando and Grogu, and that’s still the focus and still going to be the centre of it, but in that journey and in that exploration and in what Mando does, we’re obviously going to expand.”He added: “As you start to see things and his world starts to expand, we’ve had some interesting surprises and guests that have come along the way up to this point and so there’s always going to be new places to go and surprises ahead.”Along with Pascal, Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Weathers, Katee Sackhoff, Emily Swallow, and Amy Sedaris reprise their roles in the third season.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia‘s podcast is heading to London for a series of shows.The Always Sunny Podcast features stars Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton, alongside host Megan Ganz, and first launched in November 2021.It has now been confirmed that the four will head to the Royal Albert Hall for two special shows taking place on April 16, 2023.
