In the early part of 2022, as film fans started to look towards what might be the big awards-season favorites, “Emancipation” seemed to be on a lot of Most Anticipated lists. But then, at the Oscars, Will Smith assaulted Chris Rock on stage, and the idea that Apple TV+ would release “Emancipation” seemed like an insane prospect.

“Sons of Anarchy” actor Charlie Hunnam will star in Apple Tv+’s newest series “Shantaram.” The 12-episode series is based on the best-selling novel written by Gregory David Roberts and follows the thrilling epic adventure of one man’s journey to redemption through a country that changes his life. Co-created, written, and executive produced by Steve Lightfoot, “Shantaram” will see Bharat Nalluri in the director’s chair.

Do you remember an untitled Lila Neugebauer-directed drama starring Jennifer Lawrence as a soldier suffering from PTSD and known in some circles as “Red, White, And Water”? Announced back in 2019, it’s been on our Most Anticipated Films Of The Year list for at least two years running, but there has not been a peep about the film until now. Seemingly in limbo for two years, the movie is finally coming out.

It’s been a couple of years, but Jason Momoa’s “See” was one of the very first original series that arrived on Apple TV+ in its infancy. Now, as the series approaches Season 3, it’s apparently time to call it quits.
