Linda Nolan was supported by her famous sisters as she departed hospital in a wheelchair while battling cancer for the third time.  The singer, who recently celebrated her 64th birthday, was first diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2005 before getting the all-clear in 2006, and in 2020 later diagnosed with a form of incurable secondary cancer in her pelvis and liver. She was helped into a car by her sister Maureen, 68, who whom she sang alongside in her family pop group The Nolans in the 70s.

Despite the good news, a year later she was diagnosed with cellulitis and lymphoedema in her arm.

Linda Nolan has said that she was left "astonished" following the results of a new treatment for lymphedema, a condition she is currently battling.

Loose Women star Coleen, as part of the pop group The Nolans, detailed her suffering previously. The condition first began after she had a mastectomy as part of her cancer treatment in 2006. "For the past 15 years, this is something that has plagued me and now it's gotten worse - I now have it in my right arm," she lamented in frustration.
