It’s a wrap for Norman Reedus on “The Walking Dead”.

For the most part, remakes, reboots, and revivals still get a bad rep from film fans. Why remake a classic when you can just watch the classic? Well, sometimes, we get something special like Leigh Whannel’s take on “The Invisible Man,” and our faith in remakes grows just a little bit.

The producers and cast of AMC horror series “Creepshow” made a virtual appearance at the winter edition of the Television Critics Association press tour on Thursday, currently underway via Zoom.

For Creepshow creator and executive producer Greg Nicotero, scrapping an upcoming episode featuring Marilyn Manson amid the singer’s abuse allegations was an easy call. “I don’t think there was a moment where we didn’t want to do the right thing and pull the episode,” Nicotero said during Thursday’s Creepshow panel at the TCA Winter Tour. “I don’t think we thought of that more than four seconds…we stand by the decision, we stand by the support that shows.”

The Walking Dead director Greg Nicotero will not be returning for the bonus season 10 episodes.The filmmaker, who worked on a string of episodes for the show including the long-awaited finale ‘A Certain Doom’ has confirmed the extra episodes will go ahead without him.Nicotero, who remains an executive producer on the show, explained why he had to give priority to another project in the next few months.Speaking of his work on season 2 of Creepshow had to come first, he told Rotten Tomatoes:

Update 4/14/20: AMC announced Tuesday that Creepshow will air two episodes back-to-back on Mondays starting at 9/8c from May 4 through May 18.

Creepshow is going to make its linear debut on the network which brings us The Walking Dead before the new season arrives on Shudder. Executive producer Greg Nicotero's anthology series, which reimagines the classic Stephen King-George A. Romero horror movie of the same name, will be getting a run on AMC ahead of its Season 2 premiere Shudder later this year, TV Guide can confirm.
