AMC Networks has released a sneak peek for Season 2 of “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon,” this time subtitled “The Book of Carol.” Normal Reedus is reunited with “The Walking Dead” co-star Melissa McBride in the new season, which is set to premiere this summer on AMC and AMC+. Reedus and McBride reprise their roles as Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier in the series. The official Season 2 description reveals that “they both confront old demons while she fights to find her friend and he struggles with his decision to stay in France, causing tension at the Nest.” The rest of the cast includes Clémence Poésy, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, Laika Blanc Francard, Anne Charrier, Romain Levi and Eriq Ebouaney.

AMC Networks has acquired the rights to John Maxim’s popular Bannerman spy book series for development as a potential television series. The project hails from Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Ironman), Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead, Creepshow) via his overall deal with AMC Networks, and Brian Witten (Creepshow, Friday the 13th). Jeffrey Maxim is also attached as a consulting producer. It was announced today during AMC Networks’ TCA presentation in Pasadena, CA.

George Yang AMC Networks has announced a collaboration with DreadXP and game developer DarkStone Digital to produce a video game based on the TV series “Creepshow.” The show, available for streaming on Shudder, is executive produced by Greg Nicotero and is based on George A. Romero’s 1982 film. Production company Cartel Entertainment will also help bring the “Creepshow” series to the video game medium across multiple platforms in 2024. The video game will follow “Creepshow’s” anthology format and feature several self-contained horror stories across different types of gameplay genres and tones. DarkStone Digital is also one of several independent developers who are working on episodic installments to the “Creepshow” video game. DarkStone Digital is best known for indie horror games such as “The Mortuary Assistant.” The full list of contributing game developers will be revealed at a later date.
