Zooey Deschanel is coming back to television with a role in Apple TV+’s Physical!
The -year-old actress will return to the small screen opposite Rose Byrne in the series as a character named Kelly.
Kelly is described as “a network sitcom star who decides to enter the burgeoning Fitness Industry.”
Physical is set in 1980s San Diego, and centers on Sheila Rubin (Byrne), a quietly tortured, seemingly dutiful housewife supporting her smart but controversial husband’s bid for state assembly.
Season two saw Sheila successfully launched her first fitness video only to encounter some new and bigger obstacles on her path.
While no premiere date has been set, Physical just recently received the season three renewal in August.

Amazon Studios has unveiled the first stills from its holiday romantic comedy Something from Tiffany’s, starring Zoey Deutch (Not Okay) and Kendrick Sampson (Insecure), which is poised to launch globally on Prime Video on December 9th.
Back in May, the trades announced that director Jeymes Samuel would be reuniting with his “The Harder They Fall” actor LaKeith Stanfield (“Uncut Gems”) for an original project titled “The Book Of Clarence” Written by Samuel, “Clarence” takes place in the bible-era, 29 AD.
