The Queen’s royal guards have been snapped taking a rare break without their uniforms on after collectively working a 24-hour schedule.The Yeomen of the Guard – affectionately known as Beefeaters – are a British staple, and are usually made up of retired soldiers who have served in the Armed Forces.Typically located at the Tower of London, the guards have been watching over the late monarch’s coffin in recent days and have been spotted in Westminster Hall standing guard alongside The Gentlemen at Arms, as well as Princess Anne at one point.
