Fans of a New York-style piano bar and cabaret lounge in Manchester city centre are being offered the chance to become a part-owner from as little as £10.
Sonata Piano & Cabaret Lounge opened in the basement storeroom of the former Boots chemist down St Ann's Alley last year and has since played host to over 200 local artists.
Founder Dale Bassett has now launched a crowdfunding campaign with the aim of raising £150,000 to "secure a sustainable future" for the venue.

People can invest through the Seedrs campaign while a range of rewards and perks for those who invest over certain amounts are expected to be revealed over the coming weeks.
Mr Bassett, a former theatrical and musical entertainer, said: "We are thrilled to announce the biggest news for Sonata since we opened last year. In just one year, we’re so proud to have built an incredibly loyal and passionate community that returns again and again to enjoy Sonata’s unique hospitality and our fantastic local artists.

Inspired by the style of New York and Berlin cabaret clubs of the past, the late night venue plays host to an eclectic mix of international and award-winning artists - including West End stars and pop sensations.
