‘Yellowstone’ Begins Production On Season 5 For Paramount Network

The tight race for one of Emmy’s most prestigious categories, Outstanding Drama Series, is the topic for this week’s edition of Deadline’s podcast, TV TALK.  Awards Columnist and Chief Film Critic Pete Hammond and Deadline TV critic Dominic Patten go at it in trying to make sense of the contenders, and who may have the edge – or not. Last year the winner was Netflix’s The Crown which finally triumphed after several tries and led to a breakthrough in the category for the first time for the streamer. However, as is the case with so many series that take a year off – or more – and then return to the contest, The Crown is not eligible to defend its Emmy crown this time around.

She struggles to succeed in her new city and must work to overcome cultural clashes and language barriers in the pursuit of love, friendship and career success. Though its first season faced criticism for depictions of French stereotypes and what some argued was an overrepresentation at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards, it has already been renewed for a fourth season.

Paramount released a ton of Yellowstone news today (May 18) at the 2022 Paramount Upfronts in New York City.

Yellowstone” Season 5 will debut this fall, Paramount Network announced on Wednesday. The expanded season — which will run 14 episodes and air in two parts — will premiere on Nov.

The Duttons will be back in the fall.
