Sisters are known to butt heads from time to time, but one woman is wondering if she took things too far - after yelling at her pregnant sibling for eating her own dinner without asking.
Taking to social media, the young woman posited whether she was in the wrong for lashing out at her sister, who snatched the meal while she had briefly left the room.
Posting on the Reddit forum r/AmItheA**hole, the 18 year-old wrote that she lives with her mum, step-dad and 24 year-old step-sister Lily, who moved back home after "her boyfriend dumped her".
The unnamed woman explained: "After a long day at uni lectures, I came home and made myself dinner. After putting it on a plate, I left it in the kitchen whilst I went to the toilet and I got distracted because the family dog needed to be let outside to go pee.
"By the time I got back to the kitchen, Lily had eaten my dinner. I told Lily that was my dinner and she just stared at me in silence."
Trying to move past the moment, she then decided to make a quick replacement but couldn't keep her feelings bottled up. This however led to further conflict.
"I went to go make some cup noodles and told Lily this was annoying. Lily said she was hungry and said she's eating for two, and told me to shut my mouth."
After reaching the end of her tether, the woman shouted at her sister and asked for an apology. Unfortunately, the situation quickly escalated.
She continued: "I started yelling at Lily and told her she should be apologising after eating my dinner, and that maybe she should learn how to cook for herself if she's so damn hungry.
"Lily started screaming at me like a demon to the point where I didn't understand what she was saying and grabbed my cup noodles and threw them out the window,

Naman Ramachandran South Indian cinema A-lister Prithviraj Sukumaran is an integral part of the cast of “Salaar,” starring Prabhas (the Baahubali franchise) and directed by Prashanth Neel (the K.G.F. franchise). Though he was approached for the role more than 18 months ago, Sukumaran nearly could not do the film because he was busy with Jordan and Algeria shoots for Blessy’s pandemic-delayed magnum opus “Aadu Jeevitham.” As luck would have it, “Salaar” was also delayed and the dates finally aligned. Sukumaran began shooting for the film in September. “There are multiple reasons why ‘Salaar’ would be a no-brainer for anybody to say yes to – it’s a Prashanth Neel film, a Hombale Films [the K.G.F. franchise] production and it is Prabhas’ film,” Sukumaran told Variety. “It is Prabhas’ return to mainstream mass commercial cinema after a while. His films post ‘Saaho’ have been slightly away from the mass action genre.”
The co-creator of Netflix's "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" disagreed that the show was "sympathetic" to the man labeled the "Milwaukee Cannibal." The Netflix limited thriller series depicts the life of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, who was known for committing murder and other heinous acts, including necrophilia and cannibalism, between 1978 and 1991. "I think we show a human being," co-creator Ian Brennan explained to Page Six during the premiere of his new Netflix series "The Watcher." He’s monstrously human, and he’s monstrously monstrous and that’s what we wanted to sort of unpack. "We tried to show an objective portrait as possible," he noted.
The Jeffrey Dahmer craze has arrived just in time to be taken — well, too far, according to some people. This Halloween, costumes modeled after serial killer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer are expected to be hugely popular.

Jeffrey Dahmer skyrocketing thanks to the hit Netflix miniseries, an enterprising hawker is cashing in on the craze by selling the serial killer’s alleged urn, along with Dahmer memorabilia.“The Milwaukee Monster’s ash vase is the rarest true crime item I will ever have on this site,” Taylor James, who runs the Vancouver, Canada-based “true crime murderabilia” bazaar Cult Collectibles, told Jam Press. His spine-tingling site sells a smorgasbord of artifacts associated with notorious alleged murderers, including the Yorkshire Ripper and the acquitted O.J. Simpson. However, Dahmer’s urn is by far the most expensive, running prospective buyers an eye-popping $250,000.Accompanying photos show a metal container and a bag that allegedly housed the ashes of the notorious man-eater, who murdered 17 men and boys — and ate some of their corpses — between 1978 and 1991 before getting apprehended. The listing says it only entertains “serious inquiries” and will not accept “trades or payment plans.”It’s yet unclear if this is Dahmer’s actual urn.

Scooter Braun has said that he regrets how things turned out with Taylor Swift when he acquired her former label Big Machine back in 2018.Although – like Swift – he somewhat blames the label’s former owner Scott Borchetta for the massive fallout that followed the announcement of that deal. Nonetheless, he admits to a certain level of “arrogance” to think that “someone would just be willing to have a conversation and be excited to work with me”.“I learned an important lesson from [the Big Machine acquisition]”, he tells NPR in a new interview.
On this week’s episode of NPR’s The Limits With Jay Williams, music mogul Scooter Braun joined the former NBA star — and his longtime friend — to discuss his life and career. During the interview, Williams brought up about Braun’s recent conflict with Taylor Swift, whose catalog he acquired in 2019 from her former label, Big Machine. Swift referred to the acquisition as her “worst-case scenario” at the time and said she was “sad and grossed out” by the way it had been handled in an impassioned Tumblr post.
Speaking her piece. Christina Hall (née Haack) has come to an agreement with ex-husband Ant Anstead amid their contentious custody battle over son Hudson — but not without giving her side of the story.
Lots of time thinking. Scooter Braun speaks out about how he handled Taylor Swift’s masters. In a conversation with NPR’s The Limits with Jay Williams, the entrepreneur reveals how he regrets how things went down between him and the Midnights artist.
Taylor Swift‘s master recordings.Back in 2019, Swift confirmed her plans to re-record songs from her first six records in a bid to take control over her music once again after music manager Braun and his media holding company, Ithaca Holdings LLC, acquired Swift’s old label, Big Machine Label Group, back in June 2019.The story then hit headlines again in late 2020 after Swift confirmed that the ownership of her back catalogue has changed hands again for the second time within two years. After news broke of Braun selling the rights to Swift’s music to the private equity company Shamrock Holdings in a $300million (£230m), the singer shared a statement in which she said that the master recordings “were not for sale to me”.“This was the second time my music had been sold without my knowledge,” Swift said. “The letter told me that they wanted to reach out before the sale to let me know, but that Scooter Braun had required that they make no contact with me or my team, or the deal would be off.” Swift’s statement claims that Braun will continue to profit from her catalogue “for many years”.Speaking this week on NPR show The Limits With Jay Williams, Braun was asked about the situation and whether he had any regrets about how he handled the deal.“When you bought the rights to Taylor Swift’s masters, it turned into a really big thing,” Williams said, adding: “If you could go back in time… Would you have handled it differently?”Braun then responded: “Yes, I would’ve.
