An exciting season of racing is coming soon to a TV near you. Sky Tempesta Racing, one of the top GT racing teams formed in 2017, and its partner Sky, are together launching a competition to give one lucky winner the chance to see the racing action up close.
In just five years, Sky Tempesta Racing has taken the European sportscar racing world by storm. See the team’s lead driver, Chris Froggatt, and the team, which includes Eddie Cheever III, Jonathan Hui, and Kevin Tse battle for GT Racing’s podiums.
Chris Froggatt only started racing professionally aged 22 after being spotted at a track day by his now teammate and mentor Eddie Cheever III (son of ex-F1 and Indy Car driver, Eddie Cheever), for his natural ability and speed.
The team has been competing on Europe’s most formidable tracks, gaining a multitude of accolades for Sky Tempesta Racing, including winning both the Sprint Cup and Overall Pro-Am Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Championship in 2020, and winning the Pro-Am Teams’ and Drivers’ Championship in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance cup in 2021.
This year, Sky Tempesta Racing is excited to announce its participation in three GT3 Championships. The upcoming Intelligent Money British GT Championship and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Championship, driving the new McLaren 720S EVO (first time), and Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli in the Mercedes AMG GT3 (which they drove last year).
