Prince William has “reservations” about Prince Harry attending King Charles’ Coronation in May, a source has claimed. The Prince of Wales, 40, is said to be hesitant about his brother the Duke of Sussex, 38, attending the historic event as a result of the claims made in Harry’s explosive memoir Spare.
The tell-all book delivered a series of attacks on the Royal Family - with criticism aimed at William, along with the King, Queen Consort Camilla and Kate Middleton. William was reportedly “gobsmacked” in particular by the claim that it was the Prince and Princess of Wales who encouraged Harry to wear his infamous Nazi uniform to a 2005 fancy dress party.
Now, a source has told the Daily Beast: "You can understand why William has his reservations about Harry attending King Charles’ Coronation." The friend referred to William as being the sticking point in getting Harry and Meghan Markle to the historic ceremony. A previous report by the same publication quoted a source as saying the Prince of Wales will "of course" abide by Charles's decision concerning the attendance of Prince Harry at the Coronation.
However, they added, William would "much rather Harry wasn't there".They said: "The relationship between Harry and William is now non-existent.They haven’t spoken since the book came out, and William has no intention of picking up the phone any time soon. "If it was William’s Coronation, Harry wouldn’t be on the list.
It’s no secret that, personally, he would much rather Harry wasn’t there after everything he has said and done." The source also claimed the King and William have "never been closer" in the wake of the controversy surrounding Spare. The memoir, released last month, became the fastest-selling non-fiction book
