The Wicked movie is coming to life!
The highly anticipated film adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical is well underway, with filming taking place near Leighton Buzzard, United Kingdom.
Filming started at the set on April 6, and is set to continue until August 4.
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo star in the Jon M. Chu production as Glinda the Good Witch and Elphaba, respectively.
Wicked is based on Gregory Maguire‘s 1995 novel of the same name and was first performed on Broadway in 2003.
Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum will also star.
The movie will be split into two parts, with the first arriving on November 27, 2024, and the second coming a year later in 2025.
