Why HGTV's Flip or Flop Is Reportedly Ending After 10 Seasons

Flip or Flop, the popular home improvement show is coming to an end after 10 seasons and almost 10 years of filming the show. This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise considering the two hosts of the show, former couple and Tarek El Moussa, divorced in 2018—however, the show did continue for an additional five years after their relationship ended. According to a source for , the “intimate setting” of the show became too much for the two, who are both in separate relationships now.
"Tarek and Christina are generally cordial. They're co-parenting and nothing gets in the way of that," said the PEOPLE source.
The flipping pair share two children together, Taylor and Brayden El Moussa.The aptly titled Flip or Flop consisted of the former married duo buying, repairing, decorating, and re-selling homes in Southern California in the hopes of flipping a profit—with the risk of a potential flop of course. Throughout the hit series, the cameras have caught more than the reality of flipping a house; it also showcased the relationship between Christina and Tarek, their separation, Tarek’s cancer diagnosis, Christina’s pregnancy, and a lot of living in between.Both posted to their Instagram accounts on Thursday, March 10 individual posts sharing the news of the show's last run.
