The Circle US season four is returning to Netflix this month. The series has proved its popularity since it first was introduced to the streaming platform in January 2020.
Fans will know that The Circle as an original series first began in the UK on Channel 4 back in 2018. Two years later in 2020, following the initial success of the UK version, Netflix launched The Circle US.
The UK version of the series was presented by Emma Willis with a voice-over from comic Sophie Willan and a cash prize of £100,000. The premise of The Circle is that each candidate is put into self-isolating cubicles and can only communicate with each other through their online personas- which they can choose to either be true to their real identity or be a complete catfish.

The Circle US returns for season four on Wednesday 4th May at 8 am BST. Season three of The Circle US saw winner James Andre Jefferson Jr. walk away with the grand cash prize of $100,000. The new US series is set to be slightly different to the previous three seasons.
The third series of The Circle UK was in 2021. However, following this series brought with it the announcement that the UK series will be dropped from Channel 4.
However, despite a strictly UK version of The Circle being cancelled, according to reports, the US version of The Circle is set to feature both a mix of UK and US candidates on the show. The official trailer of the new Netflix season hints at this too, with the union jack featured alongside the text of new contestants.
