We're nearing the halfway mark of the competition already so we're hoping for another spectacular night of dances on Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night. Week five of the BBC One dance contest will see the 12 remaining couples return to the ballroom.
And they will be hoping to get a place in next week's Halloween special while also still vying for the Glitterball trophy. Last weekend's show saw Layton Williams smash this year's Strictly record by achieving the highest score of the series so far. The Bad Education star, 29, wowed judges with his and partner Nikita Kuzmin’s cha cha cha to Million Dollar Bill by Whitney Houston, scoring an impressive 37 points.
Actors Nigel Harman and Adam Thomas did not fall far behind – scoring 33 and 32 each alongside their partners - while there was a mega four-way tie close to the bottom of the leaderboard with Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Lauren Oakley, Zara McDermott and Gaziano Di Prima, Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola and Angela Scanlon and dance partner Carlos Gu all scoring 28.
