After delays caused by writers' and actors’ strikes last summer, the belated 2023 Emmys finally happened last night on Monday January 15 2024, and the A-list was out in full force with some incredible looks. One celeb who decided to do things a little differently on the red carpet was Kourtney Kardashian, who ditched the usual glittering gowns we’ve come to expect from awards ceremonies in favour of a sleek black tuxedo.
Her chic black trouser suit was twinning with husband Travis Barker’s, with the appearance marking the couple’s first appearance since the birth of their first child together back in November. Their suits might have been matching but they each took a unique approach to styling, with Travis opting for a matching black shirt and bowtie underneath his blazer whilst Kourtney ditched a top altogether, choosing instead to style her tux with a much sexier flash of a black lace bra, black leather gloves and some pointed toe heels.
She finished off her sleek look with silver drop earrings and her hair slicked back behind her ears, whilst her makeup opted for a grungy look that included glossy nude lips and lashings of smudgy black eyeliner. Although we have yet to track down the details of Kourtney’s exact suit, it’s safe to assume its way out of our budget.
However there’s no denying that a simple black tailored tuxedo is a chic addition to anyone’s wardrobe, which is why we’ve tracked down a much more affordable alternative.
