Looks like we're getting an epic NBA playoff run after all. OK, not really, but one of TV's biggest series of the year, The Last Dance, is more than helping to fill the basketball-shaped hole in our hearts that was left when the NBA, and every other major sports organization, postponed their seasons amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The Last Dance, ESPN's sensational docuseries following Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls' final championship season, comes to a close this Sunday. With live sports on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Last Dance has stepped in to fill a ball-shaped hole in America's heart. And now, sadly, The Last Dance is ending, too, leaving us without sports once again.
Loyal basketball fans and NBA novices alike are already hooked to Netflix and ESPN’s The Last Dance, a documentary series all about the legendary career of Michael Jordan. And like all ventures following his time with the Chicago Bulls, this one’s only made Michael Jordan’s net worth even bigger. Exactly how much more money he’s making from the series, however, is bound to surprise you.
Michael Jordan, 57, is one of the greatest basketball players of all-time and his legendary career with the Chicago Bulls is being explored in the ESPN documentary The Last Dance. The May 10 episode will focus on the year 1993 when Michael walked away from basketball in October of that year after winning his third NBA Championship.
