Little Simz was Stephen Colbert’s musical guest on The Late Show Monday night (February 20). She played “Heart on Fire” — a standout track from her fifth studio LP, No Thank You — backed by the Harlem Gospel Choir, the B String Quartet, and the Late Show Band.
Watch the her powerful performance, in which Simz slowly rises from an armchair to stand center stage in a flowing white gown and deliver the song’s emotionally charged second half. No Thank You dropped on short notice in December alongside a short film of the same name.
