Warwick Davis' children have shared a message on his behalf as he sparked concern days after confirming the tragic death of his beloved wife. The Harry Potter star has since paid tribute to his 'favourite human', Samantha, who died on March 24, aged 53.
Samantha Davis, who was the founder of the dwarfism charity Little People UK, met Warwick on the set of the film Willow in 1988 before marrying three years later.
"Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs," Mr Davis said in a statement, according to the BBC. "She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes," the statement added.

The actor and TV presenter also described his wife, ‘Sammy’, as his ‘most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career’.
Days after sharing the news, on April 17, of Samantha's death, Warwick shared a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, and said: "I’m done here, Signing off," alongside a broken heart emoji.
It was quickly flooded with responses with fans sharing their condolences to the star, who first found fame through George Lucas's Star Wars and who played a goblin in Harry Potter, while some also shared messages of support and concern.
Just over an hour later, another post was shared from Warwick's account which had been written by his children. It said: "Thank you everyone for looking out for our Dad, he is taking some time away from social media. He apologises if his last message caused anyone concern.
