Linda Robson has given fans an insight into her life during the height of her fame.The 65 year old actor is set to release her new memoir, Truth Be Told: Tales from a Baggy Mouth on 15 February, where she bares all about her Birds of a Feather days and how fame and success altered her life. Annika Pham Copenhagen-based DR Sales has snapped up international rights on the anticipated opening film of the 21st CPH:DOX Festival, “Life and Other Problems.” Variety debuts the trailer below. The playful existential film by Danish documentary filmmaker Max Kestner (“Blue Collar White Christmas,” “Amateurs in Space”) is shepherded by Denmark’s Bullitt Film (Prix Europa for “Absolute Beginners”), with Ruben Östlund’s Swedish banner Plattform Produktion and the U.K.’s Hopscotch Films (“Story of Film”).

Given the divide in America, where neighbors are seemingly tearing each other apart each day, at least if you watch Fox News, a comedy about warring neighbors who hate each other seems pretty timely, right? But this time, the relevance of the divided house is transported to a period piece in the charming seaside town of Littlehampton, England. Patrick Frater Asia Bureau Chief The CinemAsia Film Festival in Amsterdam has unveiled titles from seven different Asian countries for its competition section. The festival will play at the Studio/K, Rialto De Pijp and Rialto VU venues March 5-10, 2024. The event will close with the out-of-competition screening of “Gaga,” a drama about indigenous communities in Taiwan, directed by Laha Mebow. “Gaga” documents the challenges faced by a commune after the death of a respected tribal elder who, while alive, had held things together.
