Kicking back in the cinema with a popcorn and cold drink in hand as you immerse yourself in a film is one of life's simplest pleasures.
Unfortunately, going to the pictures can be surprisingly expensive. People are having to spend more on tickets and food, and if you're going as a family, it can get pretty pricey.
Tickets at VUE are normally £8.99, but you can slash that price by more than half with a Groupon Vue deal. Its latest deal means you can get tickets from £4 each if you buy 10 or get five tickets for £22 - still a competitive price at £4.40 ticket.
There is a catch though - all tickets must be used by the end of September. That means bargain hunters have just over a month to use up all the tickets they've purchased in the Groupon deal.
Luckily there are plenty of films to catch whether you're going solo or as a group. Blockbusters like Barbie and Oppenheimer are still in theatres but the crowds have finally died down.
Meg 2 and Blue Beetle are also in theatres alongside family friendly films like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayham, Haunted Mansion, Strays and Elemental also playing.
The Groupon deal is valid in all of the 89 Vue cinemas nationwide, which includes locations in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Stirling and more.
