Gemma Atkinson has been thanked by Vicky Pattison after the Hits Radio host showed her support for the former Geordie Shore star's latest career move. The 35-year-old excitedly announced to her fans that she will soon be hosting Heart Radio's drive-time host for the North East. "I can't believe I'm writing this... (just know I'm doing it through tears btw) But I am officially @thisisheart's brand new, official and full-time host for drive time North East!!!" Vicky typed on Instagram.
"I START IN SEPTEMBER! This has been on my vision board for as long as I can remember (along with a really creepy cut out of @glouiseatkinson's body doing strictly with my head stuck on but the less said about that the better)... I just honestly can't believe it's finally happening!!

"As a super proud Geordie, it means so much to be able to spend more time in the North East and entertain you guys on your school run or drive home from work. I am also super honoured to be joining the @thisisheart radio family!! God, this is just a super exciting opportunity and I'm so grateful!!!
"So from September the 11th- me and my unbelievable cohost @adamlawrance will be permanent fixtures on your airwaves... and if you like chaos, lols and chat that makes our poor producer fear for his job then tune in!!!! I am buzzing like an old fridge!!!"
And following the announcement, Gemma was quick to respond before Vicky thanked her for her reaction to her mood board admission. Showing her support, the new mum-of-two
