The event, previously announced to take place live on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, does yet not have a broadcast home, having cut ties with NBC after the 2023 show.

But then came a detour: Early this winter, CBS approached both “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race” about expanding to weekly 90 minute episodes for fall 2023.
