Vanessa Feltz has paid tribute to her late friend Nikki Grahame a year on from her tragic death, describing her as “a mischievous, hilarious” girl. Vanessa, 60, and Nikki, who died last April after battling anorexia from the age of eight, formed a tight friendship during their time together in the 2010 series, Ultimate Big Brother house. Vanessa Feltz has revealed that she’s tested positive for Covid after coughing live on air.The TV star, 60, took to Instagram today, Thursday 24 March, just hours after filming in the This Morning studio and informed her 134,000 followers that she’d contracted the virus. “I’ve got covid. Gosh,” she began in the video.
“I don’t really know what to say, it’s a bit of a shock really because I don’t feel that bad. In fact I feel okay.” “I’ve just done This Morning and I gave a right cough while I was on the telly and I thought that was a bit weird,” Vanessa continued. “I got on the back of the motorbike to come home again, felt slightly queasy – which I never, never do – then I thought, have I got a bit of a cold? I’d better test, and, so, here it is.
Positive.” Vanessa then proceeded to send her love to anyone else in the same situation as her, and branded herself as “lucky” that she’d managed to avoid contracting Covid until now. In the wake of her announcement, people have shared their well wishes to the TV star. Vanessa’s daughter Allegra Kurer commented: “So sorry Mum! Wishing you better!
