On Monday, February 24, Vanessa Bryant stood at the center of her late husband, Kobe Bryant’s home, the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Despite suffering the tragic loss of her life partner and daughter, Gianna, Vanessa gathered herself of strength and spoke beautiful words of each during their memorial.

LOS ANGELES — A gallery of basketball legends joined thousands of Kobe Bryant fans in Los Angeles on Monday to pay tribute to the transcendent NBA star, his daughter and seven others who died in a helicopter crash last month that shocked the world of sports and beyond.

Vanessa Bryant made her first appearance since the death of her husband Kobe Bryant and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant. On Monday, February 24, Vanessa took center stage inside of the Staples Center to remember her teenage daughter Gigi.

Vanessa Bryant fought through tears during a heartfelt speech at Staples Center on Monday morning for the public memorial held for her late husband Kobe and daughter Gianna Bryant. The Lakers legend and his 13-year-old daughter were two of seven others who perished in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, CA on January 26. Today marks Vanessa’s first public appearance with her daughters following the tragic accident. Kobe was 41.

Less than a month since Kobe Bryant's untimely passing in a helicopter crash, his longtime wife Vanessa Bryant is taking legal action.  E! News has learned attorneys for Vanessa submitted a wrongful death lawsuit against Island Express Helicopters. Per NBC News, attorneys filed a 72-page wrongful death lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court arguing Island Express, agents and employees, including Ara George Zobayan, the pilot of the Sikorsky S-76 helicopter who also died in the crash, had a "duty
