Source Music, a subsidiary of HYBE, has announced a debut date for its upcoming girl group, LE SSERAFIM.In a statement issued to Weverse today (April 12), Source Music announced that LE SSERAFIM are set to release their first mini-album on May 2 at 6pm KST. Their upcoming record, titled ‘Fearless’, is currently available for pre-order through the Weverse Shop.

Son Na-eun has personally revealed that she has left K-pop girl group Apink.On April 8, the 28-year-old idol and actress broke the new on Instagram through a handwritten letter, where she shared more about her departure from the group. Son leaving Apink marks the end of her nearly 11-year-run as a member of the K-pop girl group.“I made this difficult decision after a lot of debate, and though it wasn’t an easy decision, I plan to become a Panda (Apink’s official fanbase) and cheer on Apink starting from now on,” wrote Son, as translated by Soompi.

Source Music has publicly denied allegations that Kim Ga-ram, a member of upcoming girl group LE SSERAFIM, was a school bully.Less than a day after the label introduced Kim as a member of the group, a number of netizens claimed that the 16-year-old singer had been involved in bullying incidents during her school days. One netizen, who claimed to be Kim’s classmate from middle school, alleged that Kim had regularly harassed younger students, according to posts archived by Koreaboo.In another set of forum posts by KBIZoom, another netizen posted screenshots of a conversation that was allegedly initiated by Kim, where she allegedly cussed out another person while asking them to pick up the phone.HYBE, which owns Source Music, the agency in charge of LE SSERAFIM, has since denied all allegations and taken legal action in a statement posted today (April 6).

Variety has previously reported, “Elvis” Baz Luhrmann’s drama about the rock-and-roll legend Elvis Presley, starring Austin Butler (“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”) and Tom Hanks, will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.Cannes confirmed the premiere on Tuesday, adding that Luhrmann, Hanks and Butler will attend the premiere screening alongside Olivia DeJonge (“The Visit”), who plays Priscilla Presley in the biopic. David Bowie has been unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London as part of the attraction’s ‘Music Festival’ experience.Created in partnership with Bowie’s estate, the figure depicts the late musician during his iconic Ziggy Stardust era.
