Two teenage girls were sexually assaulted by a staff member at a newsagents in what police have described as a 'horrifying' ordeal.
Sanad Ahmed, 28, of Asbridge Street in Liverpool attacked the two girls at the Richmond News store, Richmond Street, in Liverpool on the afternoon of May 15 2021.
A group of teenagers reported the assault to police when they saw the girls after the incident. Sanad was arrested on the same day and denied all the allegations when questioned.

Following a trial at Liverpool Crown Court, a jury found Ahmed guilty of offences including oral rape and assault by penetration. On Thursday (October 5) he was jailed for seven years and will remain on the sex offenders register for life. He has also been made subject to a 10 year restraining order to protect the victims.
Speaking after the sentencing Detective Chief Inspector Paul Parry said: “For years Ahmed has denied sexually assaulting his victims whilst he was working at a newsagents in Liverpool putting them through the distress and turmoil of reliving the events in court.
