The trial of a boy and a girl accused of the murder of transgender 16-year-old Brianna Ghey has been put back until November.
The two accused, a 15-year-old boy and a girl aged 16, who cannot be named because of their ages, were scheduled to go on trial in July at Liverpool Crown Court. But at a hearing at the same court today (Friday) before Mrs Justice Yip, a new trial date was set for November 27, which will now take place at Manchester Crown Court and is estimated to last up to three weeks.
The 50-minute hearing on Friday dealt with issues which cannot be reported ahead of the trial.

Both defendants were charged following the death of Brianna, from Birchwood in Warrington, Cheshire, who was found with fatal stab wounds on a path in Culcheth Linear Park shortly after 3pm on Saturday February 11.
Neither defendant was present for the hearing on Friday but will attend in person for a further pre-trial hearing in Manchester on July 20. The girl, from Warrington, and the boy, from Leigh, are both currently held in youth detention accommodation.
