Manchester United midfield enforcer Casemiro was the most aggressive player from the two Manchester clubs during the 2022/23 Premier League season, according to data from video game FIFA 23.
Research conducted by Ticketgum discovered that the Brazilian was the most aggressive player when analysing the stats from United and City players during the most recent top flight campaign. They calculated an aggregate score for each player using their FIFA 23 rating for aggression, physicality and strength.
Each and every player within FIFA 23 receives a rating out of 100 for a variety of categories, such as shooting, defending and pace, as well as the three aforementioned categories relating to this particular study. Ten Manchester-based players featured within the study, six of which were United players.
Casemiro was found to be the most aggressive player within the study, generating an aggressiveness score of 99.4. He scored 90/100 for physicality, 90/100 for strength and 91/100 for aggression. He earned the highest score for physicality, but was outdone in the other two categories, though did not affect the final result.

After Casemiro scooped first place, City striker Erling Haaland claimed joint-second, earning an aggressiveness score of 99.3, meaning he was only marginally behind the Brazilian. The Norwegian, who scored a jaw-dropping 52 goals for the Blues last term, scored 87/100 for physicality, 93/100 for strength - which was the highest number of anyone within that category - and 85/100 for aggression.
