Joe Otterson TV ReporterThe “Teen Wolf” revival movie at Paramount Plus has added five actors to the cast, including multiple returning stars of the original series.The new cast members are: Ian Bohen returning as Peter Hale; Vince Mattis as Eli Hale, fifteen year-old son of Derek Hale; Nobi Nakanishi as Deputy Ishida; Khylin Rhambo returning as Mason Hewitt; and Amy Lin Workman as Hikari Zhang. Nakanishi had also previously appeared on the original “Teen Wolf” in a different role, playing Young Katashi in two episodes of Season 3.The quintet joins previously announced stars Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Crystal Reed, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, JR Bourne, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio, and Dylan Sprayberry in the film revival of the beloved MTV drama series. In the film, a terrifying evil emerges in Beacon Hills.

The shows will be part of Paramount Plus’s stated plans to green light 50 new non-U.S.

Paramount Plus has released the official trailer for “The Offer,” the upcoming drama miniseries that chronicles the making of “The Godfather.”Set in the early 1970s, “The Offer” stars Miles Teller as Albert S. Ruddy, who is hired as the producer for the film adaptation of the best-selling novel “The Godfather,” written by Mario Puzo (played by Patrick Gallo). While the series faces typical behind the scenes tension between its director Francis Ford Coppola (Dan Fogler) and producing team, the filming grows more complicated when mob boss Joe Colombo (Giovanni Ribisi) signs on to help assist in the production.

Naman Ramachandran Revered Indian actor Shabana Azmi, who plays the pivotal role of Admiral Margaret Parangosky in hugely anticipated mega-budget Paramount Plus series “Halo,” describes her experience on the show as “completely different.”The series is based on Microsoft’s iconic video game “Halo,” a sprawling science fiction epic that involves multiple warring factions and far-flung alien species. Joe Otterson TV ReporterLaysla De Oliveira will star alongside Zoe Saldaña in the upcoming Paramount Plus series “Lioness” from Taylor Sheridan, Variety has learned exclusively.The series is based on a real-life CIA program and follows Cruz Manuelos (De Oliveira), described as a rough-around-the-edges but passionate young Marine, who is recruited to join the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within. Saldaña will play Joe, the station chief of the Lioness program tasked with training, managing and leading her female undercover operatives. The series is set to go into production in June.De Oliveira currently stars in the Netflix series “Locke & Key,” with the third season of that series set to debut later in 2022.

Told in ten episodes, the series is an operatic story of two brothers, Sam and John Ibrahim who organize the street but lose each other in their ascent to power.Kieran Darcy-Smith (“Wolf Creek,” “The Duel”) has writing credits and is set as the director.

Kirk for the Paramount Plus show’s upcoming second season.“Strange New Worlds” is due to premiere on Paramount Plus on May 5. It was renewed for a second season back in January, with that season already in production.The show follows the adventures of Captain Christopher Pike prior to Kirk becoming captain of the Enterprise.

Daniel Radcliffe and his longtime girlfriend, Erin Darke, had a glam date night on Monday at the New York City premiere of his new film, The 32-year-old alum and the 37-year-old actress posed together on the red carpet for the first time since 2014. The pair matched, with Radcliffe in a black-and-white jungle print shirt, black jacket and dark pants. Darke also went for a black-and-white look, wearing a dress with white printed flowers. Radcliffe didn't open up about his date when speaking with ET's Rachel Smith at the premiere, but he did gush about his co-star and producer, Sandra Bullock. «I grew up watching Sandra's movies, so to be on set with her was very, very surreal and cool,» he shared with ET, adding that Bullock took her producing role very seriously.

NEW YORK -- In another sign that show business is snapping back to its pre-pandemic rhythm, the Tony Awards will once again take place in June and at a familiar location, Radio City Music Hall.The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing announced Wednesday that the awards will be handed out June 12 and aired on CBS, but instead of a three-hour presentation, producers are adding an extra hour ahead of the telecast that will stream only on Paramount+. The broadcast will be live across the country, starting at 7 p.m.

This year’s ceremony, which marks the 75th annual Tony Awards, will take place on Sunday, June 12, at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.Like last year, the four-hour ceremony will once again kick off with an exclusive start on Paramount Plus, before CBS joins in. But in 2022, the CBS broadcast has been restored to a full three hours (following last year’s two-hour show on the Eye).

The 75th annual Tony Awards will be presented live coast-to-coast on CBS from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 12, the first nationwide live presentation in Tony history.
