Tommy Fury has shared a sweet tribute to his fiancée Molly-Mae Hague, after opening up about undergoing surgery on his hand following an injury. The professional boxer, 24, took to Instagram on Thursday (25 January) to reveal he'd had a secret operation on his right hand, which he'd "been putting off for years" after sustaining an injury back in 2019. Tommy is now back at home with Molly, 24, and their one year old daughter Bambi, and is beginning to recover from his surgery.
He gave fans a glimpse into his current fitness regime on Instagram, as he begins to take things "slow". Tommy posted a snap of his and Molly's home gym, revealing he was going for a "slow walk" on the treadmill, in a bid to "keep things moving". He then followed up with a photo of Molly feeding baby Bambi in the kitchen, and praised his girlfriend for "holding down the forte" while he's unable to use his right hand.
"My girl holding down the forte while I've got one hand," the dad-of-one penned alongside a white heart emoji. Tommy was inundated with well wishes after revealing he'd undergone surgery on social media. He posted a message to fans as well as a photo of himself in a hospital bed, with his hand wrapped up in bandages.
"Since 2019 I have been dealing with a hand injury that I’ve never spoken about/shared online. Since my third professional fight I have been trying to manage this injury, training and fighting through extreme pain which led me to often not being able to use my right hand at all. For the last four weeks of my last camp I trained solely with my left hand until fight night," Tommy candidly revealed.
